Cottonwood Creek Hike & Bike Trail Connection @ Allen Heritage Village

Trail construction is an ongoing project in the City of Allen. This particular trail segment of the Cottonwood Creek Trail is part of the Collin County Regional Trail System, which will complete the missing segment from Hydrous Wakeboard Park across a pedestrian bridge to the Senior Recreation Center. The 12' wide trail will also provide connection under St. Mary's drive to the Allen Heritage Village along Cottonwood Creek. This project is scheduled to begin construction in Fall 2017 and will be completed in Spring 2018.

Mustang Hike and Bike Trail Connection @ Allen Heights Drive

The Mustang Hike and Bike Trail North and South of Allen Heights will soon be connected by an At Grade Street Crossing just south of Bethany Road. This crossing is currently being designed and will provide three miles of continuous Hike and Bike Trail from Reed Park South to Plano at Chaparral Road.

Watters Hike and Bike Trail Connection @ Hidden Creek Apartments

This particular 10’ wide trail is a part of the Collin County Regional Trail System. The project will include a 12’ wide pedestrian bridge that provides connectivity from Watters Branch Development northward to Ridgeview Drive at Watters Creek Community Park. Completing this missing segment within the existing Watters Trail will create a continuous 4 miles of trail. This project is currently under construction and is anticipated to be complete by January 2018.
