Councilmember Place No. 2 (Term 2023-2026)
Councilmember Tommy Baril’s experience in government and community service is shown in both his professional and volunteer service.
Before being elected to Allen City Council in 2023, Baril previously served as president of the Allen Community Development Corporation and chair of the Allen Downtown Steering Committee. He has also served as a member of Allen’s CERT (Community Emergency Response Team).
Baril is an Assistant Director within the U.S. Government Accountability Office’s Defense Capabilities and Management team. He holds a BBA (Finance) Certificate in International Business and Certificate in National Security from Texas A&M University. Baril and his family have lived in Allen since 2004.
